Alternative coordinates

Cylindrical and spherical coordinates

There are no direct way of plotting a material on a cylindrical or spherical object, in cycles. Therefore I have made two simple nodegrupes to convert the cartesian coordinates (x,y,z) to cylindrical and spherical coordinates.

Coordinates

The picture show the difference between the cylindrical and spherical coordinates to the left and cartesian coordinates to the right. The material have been stretched to illustrate how it is ploted to the object.

The relation between cylindrical coordinates and cartesian coordinates is:

To convert the coordinates with this node, just put it just after the object texture coordinate input.
